Miltos Aslanoglou is a Mechanical Engineer and holds an M.Sc. degree in Applied Economics & Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), and an M.Sc. degree in Environmental Technology – Energy Policy from Imperial College London, UK.
His professional activity focuses on regulation in the energy sector, energy market design, and the development of competition.
In January 2021, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors at AirEnergy S.A., a Renewable Energy Sources project development company.
In December 2020, he was appointed General Manager of the Hellenic Energy Suppliers Association (ESPEN).
He served as Vice-President of the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) during the period 2010 – 2015, and was head of the Market Monitoring and Competition unit at RAE since 2002. He also served as an alternate member of the Board of Appeals of ACER (Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators).
Before joining the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy, he worked in electricity and natural gas trading companies in London.
