In February 2025 (24/2-28/2), MSc Energy students embarked on a transformative
journey to the bustling metropolis of New York City. The week-long educational trip,
filled with learning, networking, and cultural exploration, proved to be an
    unforgettable experience for all participants.
Students had the privilege of visiting the Greek National Tourism Organisation office,
the Consulate General of Greece, the UN Headquarters – where they were also taken
on a guided tour – and the Permanent Mission of Greece to the UN. Furthermore,
they had the unique opportunity to attend the conference “Transatlantic Dynamics:
Navigating Power, Cooperation, and Influence in US-Greek Relations” organized by
New York University (Center for Global Affairs) in collaboration with the Department
of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus.
The trip will have a long-lasting effect on our students since they had the chance to
discuss with leading experts, practitioners and academics on the cutting-edge of their
research fields. These sessions provided valuable insights, bridging the gap
between academic theory and practical application while fostering connections with
professionals and peers from around the world, broadening students’ perspectives
    and strengthening their international networks.
This trip was a testament to the commitment to providing our MSc students with
global opportunities that enhance their learning and open doors to future possibilities.
