Dr. Eirini Mamakou is a Special Teaching Staff Member (EEP) at the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus, where she has been teaching since 2009. She holds a degree from the Department of English Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), an MA in Applied Language Studies: Computing from the University of Kent, UK, and a PhD from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at NKUA, focusing on developing academic/research skills through project-based methodology.
She has also taught as a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire (UK), University of Patras, Athens University of Economics and Business, and University of the Peloponnese. In 2004, she served as a permanent Laboratory Teaching Staff Member (EDIP) at the Department of Telecommunication Science and Technology, University of the Peloponnese.
